Verbal abuse is a treatment that doesn’t leave bruises like physical battering. But it penetrates and has much greater impact on your mind, your body and soul than a mere slap. Bible - Proverbs 22:24 says, “Do not associate with a man given to anger; or go with a hot-tempered man.” And Proverbs 29:22 says, “An angry man stirs up strife, and a hot-tempered man abounds in transgression.” There are many men and women who are in an abusive relationship but can’t easily break free. Simply because he/she doesn’t know how the world will perceive him/her. And those who see feel it’s easy to break free. But it’s only the victim who knows how complex a relationship it is … ALAS.
